If I were Mexican, I would be insulted by that comment, because the city is broke. The State of California schools rank 49 out of 50 states, and yet 50% of the state budget is used for schools.

50% of the state budget is used for schools. That is truly amazing. Yet another statistic to prove that more money does not equal better education.
