Theory: Bergs death is somehow linked to his dads anti-war activities Why was Michael Berg's membership in the anti-war group ANSWER posted on an enemies list on the conservative Web site freerepublic .org, and who saw it?
Ah, how about this one, and by far the most likely;
Theory: Berg's death is somehow linked to his dads anti-war activities. People talk about their children socially. And talking about you Jewish son alone in Iraq doing contracting war while you are among the most extreme members of the anti-war movement is bound to eventually catch the ears of an actual terrorist.
Did Mike Berg's big mouth and terror sympathizing ways perhaps lead to his own son's murder?

It probably went like this: Nick Berg caught a ride out of Baghdad headed to Jordan. His car was stopped by terrorists. When the bad guys learned they had an American Jew they sent him on to al-Zarqawi in exchange for a cash reward.
The father belonging to ANSWER had nothing to do with his son's murder.

FWIW, here's my theory: Berg's death was somewhow linked to the Jewish-sounding name on his passport. (I know, I know--those wacky terrorists painted that Star of David on the remains of his orange jumpsuit-clad body just to confuse us.)
