This is the BIG STINK in the phony Catholic bioethics circles now - providing ethical cover for the expected, huge profits from harvesting aborted stem cells. Follow the money. They want to be able to give pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research hospitals the right to create embryonic humans to be "harvested" for research.
The "Catholic" medical mafiosi who are in on this have blood on their hands. Disgusting beyond belief!

I once got into an interesting conversation with two student, one RCC and ELCA. They both argued for stem cell research, since the abortion happened already why not use the stem cells (dead baby parts) for the "greater good".
One student, who had given a talk about stem cells at her ELCA church, said that her dad had diabetes and that stem cells might cure him. I ended the conversation by asking how many dead babies was her dad's life worth?
In the end, that is what this type of research is. Extermination along the lines of what the Nazi doctor's of WWII got hanged for.
