I always thought Bill Cosby was pretty reasonable about race issues. It was his wife who went loony after their son died, and she blamed "racism" as opposed to blaming the people who killed their son.

My problem with "the Cos" is that he ceased to be funny once he got his TV show. But I'll never forget a live concert back in the 1970s and it was one of the funniest stand-ups I've EVER seen.

There are some blacks --- like Cosby who really should be Conservatives --- they don't fit with the Jesse Jacksons, the Bill Clintons, the Ted Kennedys, the Al Sharptons. The Republican party hasn't reached them --- but deep down these people believe in hard work, studying --- they don't promote the welfare mentality, victimization. They're liberals but don't belong there.
