Exactly. I just thought of a good example...I recall in one of the early episodes, Huxtable's son Theo brought home a bad grade in some subject. Upon being confronted by his dad, Theo goes off on this, "I'll never be good in school, why can't you accept me the way I am" rant (classic leftist thinking)...His dad looks at him and says, "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!", then proceeds to tell the kid why he will do better..."I brought you into this world, and I'll take you out!" Reminded me of how my own dad would respond.

Yep --- if he was really a liberal he would have sat Theo down and explained to him that it was the white man's fault, that having great great ancestors in slavery was a hinderance he could never overcome and told him to get out and demand reparations.
