Where does America go to get back its moral clarity? Where do we go to get back our human dignity, decency, honor and self-respect? Where do we go to get back our knowledge of, and belief in, the acceptance of personal responsibility for our own actions, so no one else is forced to pay the ultimate price for our own decadence, debauchery, egotistical self-indulgence and irresponsibility? Or will the light of America eventually be extinguished? Flushed away into the ancient sewer of mankind. Just another failed, forgotten civilization. Just another rerun on the History Channel of the future.
Ping. (As usual, if you would like to be added to or removed from my "conservative Catholics" ping list, just send me a FReepmail. Please realize that some of my "ping" posts are long.)

Carthage? You just realized that the US is sinking into a moral cesspool? </sarcasm/> I know and I agree with what you are thinking, but I think it is true to say an abandoment of traditional morality ensures the fall of a civilization, takes into account a few more things too (like this whole MA wedding thing). God Bless

But are we, in reality, practicing a sanitized version of infanticide and human sacrifice? In a word: yes.
Those clean white buildings in all of our cities: they aren't "Women's Clinics" or "Planned Parenthood Offices" or anything like that.
They're temples to Moloch.

And if any of you find that reference too cryptic, here's a link to the Wikipedia entry on
Moloch.
The descriptions fits to a tee, don't you think?

Moral corruption ping.
The U.S. has begun its slide (long ago) into history AND it is accelerating.
It's sad and the only way to stop this slide is to turn back to God. What is the chance of that?

Awash in a sea of moral turpitude, we have become a sex-obsessed, sex-addicted society. We are hooked on pornography, perversion, promiscuity, adultery and depravity. What can you expect when all the conveniences and comforts of the modern world can be had at your fingertips for a very tiny expenditure of energy and time? The devil finds work for idle hands.

MY GOD! ONE OF THE BEST ARTICLES I'VE EVER READ AGAINST ABORTION!
Unbelievable. Great. Just read it out loud to spouse, thinks it's great.
How can more people read this?
People should email this to everyone in their address books, print it out and distribute this weekend at church, synagogue, temple or wherever.
Who could possibly argue with her? What arguments could anyone even put forward?

A wrongly accused politician once said, Where do I go to get back my good name? According to Albany, NY Bishop Howard Hubbard, the answer would be to call in Mary Jo White! (just had to introduce a bit of levity into this post ;-D)
Excellent article!

The U.S. has become a very large dysfunctional family. The American Catholic Church has become part of that. The moral insanity on abortion is one of the most glaring examples of just how dysfunctional U.S. culture has become
and the American Catholic Church is a key player in this.

At least Spiro Agnew had the decency to leave public life. Hubbard clings to his job.

For evil people, there is no such thing as blessing. I look at my own children and I am simply amazed that anyone could be so blind as to throw away their own children. But that is the way it is with evil people. Every good thing God gives becomes a curse and a burden to them. They know only the worship of self.
Hell need be nothing more than populated by people who refuse to put anything outside their own skin above themselves. Such people can't create and bless, only take and curse.

Get out your Bibles and read Romans 1.
It's as up-to-date as today's headlines: those who call evil good and good evil.

But that is the way it is with evil people. Malthusianism and population control mythology are very much a part of the secular humanist agenda that infects MANY aspects of American culture. Liberals seem to be unaware of the racist origins of this ideology. The moral insanity grows. Shamelessly. With Big Media and corporate support. We are seeing the beginnings of the post-Christian barbaric future. American liberals and secular humanists dig their own graves.

This report is but the tip of the iceberg. The birth control pill has led to the sharp decline in birthrate that is needed to sustain our nation. It has also transformed sex from a procreative function into sport. For every abortion performed in our nation, over 1,000 births are prevented by the birth control pill. Is it any wonder our politicians allow illegal immigration to fill the void.
The hypocrisy of our liberal "conservatives" lays in the fact they separate abortion from other means of birth control. The only acceptable Christian means of birth control is abstinence.
