Understood. Of course we all know that tools we take care of last longer than ones we abuse. The question is how to dispose of them once they are no longer of use to us. Sometimes our castaways are still useful to others. Whether it is as a pleasure horse or dinner, I really don't care. I'd rather put down the horse myself and sell the meat than put them through the hell of the slaughter house.
I have a hard time throwing away any tool that has served me well. And I did fall in love with my tractor. ;-)
