There was an rumor started in Texas about Perry that though untrue had a long enough run to hurt(the dems discussed it in a public meeting)...It was all over the Internet..and here.

The redistricting and school funding arguments have taken a toll. This state has a lot of yellow dog Dems,dems who vote Republican in federal elections..

In my lifetime the election used to be decided when the dem primary was over.
