Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Orrin Hatch of Utah, Richard Lugar of Indiana, Pat Roberts of Kansas and John Warner of Virginia have all been outspoken in their condemnation of the torture excesses. Nice try by the author to throw in some Republican names. However, all Republicans including Rumsfeld and Bush have been also been outspoken against the excesses.
That is a far cry from these Republican Senators saying the problem is systemic. The article relies mostly on "senior" Army and CIA types...in other words nasty Democrats who are working in this administration.
