Southern Louisiana has half a dozen or more distinct accents.

Yes, it's quite amazing to hear. Don't forget the "Yats"(as in wher yaat?) around "Met-tre" and the "nint ward". They seem to have some of that Joyisey accent.

some of that Joyisey accent. < P>That's Cajun talk. I don't know how you get from Cajun French to boin and toin but it goes there. It's like mexicans doing English. The accent in English seems to have no relationship at all to mexican Spanish.
