U.S. April Housing Starts Fall 2.1% to 1.969 Mln Rate (Update1) May 18 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. housing starts fell 2.1 percent in April, the third decline in four months, as higher mortgage rates deterred some homebuilders from beginning work on projects they haven't yet sold, a government report showed.
