I see that Vice-President Cheney and Colin Powell were both in my state today. Actually they were only about 45 minutes away.
HEADS UP:
C-Span will air the President's speech from today after this House of Representative stuff -- they didn't provide a time (of course, when has C-Span ever adhered to a schedule!)!!

I agree with those of you who have decided to limit your consumption of TV and newspapers for the next 5 1/2 months -- we must maintain our mental health for the important tasks.
My family and I spent the weekend in NW Ohio at a family wedding -- I must say, I remained blissfully unaware of polls, biased news coverage and JFnK for 2 1/2 days!!!! The only thing I missed was the DOSE [Of course, I was reading Bill Sammon's new book about the President, so I was actually getting my DOSE, just in a different format!!]

Actually, when I see the Veep doing this, I think "calm down, Truthy, we have this election under control. You do your part and we'll be Inaugurated again on Jan. 20th, 2005." Please, dear God, let that be true!
