In your post you singled out Baptists, not Christians.
With regard to giving up your traditions, "as ones practiced by the majority", it's the freedom to practice religion that makes the US a great country, wouldn't you agree?

Oh for the love of pete. Baptists are one of the largest denominations in the US. What if she had said Catholic, or Episcopalean? This thread is too important for someone to stop by and start nitpicking. Hush!
