I just got out after eight months for DUI," said Mark Stricherz, 23. Sure, it was my eighth offense, and I happened to be evading police after commission of an armed robbery ....

Judge Rodney Steele also fined Janklow $5,750, ordered him to pay $5,000 for his incarceration and put him on probation for three years, during which he won't be allowed to drive. The convictions will be erased from his record if he complies with terms of the sentence. This pisses me off. I hope the murdering bastard dies before his record is erased. Why the hell should it be erased - will his victim's family have their grief erased along with it?

I had a friend whose mother was killed on a bicycle by a drunk in a Chevy Van. The guy got off on a suspended sentence. The courts just can't their job to protect us.

I'm betting he will be back driving 100+ mph well before his 3 year probation is up. After all the law doesn't apply to him. Unfortunately, I know him personally and he is in my opinion unrepentant for what he did.
