You know Chewy, I've just recently become aware of Patrick Henry College, which was founded by one of the top dogs in the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA). I think their emphasis is in government and law. Their enrollment is about 95% homeschooled students.
The SAT scores of those in the university is about where the Ivy Leagues are. I wish I could remember more about the article, which was in the most recent HSLDA newsletter, but our son is still too young to be thinking about college as anything other than a future eventuality... specifics to be determined.
For the record, the HSLDA publications are all extremely good.
One of the things we are concerned about is sending the girls away to college. We have found that all of the homeschool kids we hang around with are all very sweet and good hearted. To send our children into a public college with kids who went through public school, we fear we are sending them into the lion's den.
A college with mostly homeschooled kids may well solve that problem!
