The US Armed Forces are the Finest in the world. The men and women who served in the past and who serve now are the reason we are still free and still the Greatest Nation on Earth. The families of our service people should also be recognized for their sacrifice and support.

God Bless our Armed Forces.

God Bless George W. Bush.

Thanks.

I wanted to know if you agreed with my assessment about pilots.

I like it. I have corrected vision myself. I was a junior in high school with a 4.0 GPA when I found out. I dropped out of school and went to work. Why did I drop out of school? Because all I ever wanted to do was be a USAF Fighter Pilot. Glasses??? I was crushed....!

A year later I got my GED and enlisted in the USAF. Went to college at night for years, have 2 Associate Degrees and no real (BS) degree. I'm full of BS but I can't prove it.

I finally got my Private Pilot Certificate at 41 years of age. Built a plane from a kit before another year passed. Sold it after 4 years, rent some now but not enough.

I love the sky.

Your college education sounds like mine. I know a lot of people went to college to get a degree.

I went for an education. I shopped the courses offered like picking out a meal at a cafeteria. What I selected didn't match any degree programs, but it suited me.

I have only an AA degree, but I can talk to anyone about anything. While I was attending classes, I had one girl friend who called me "Professor."

If there was a Master's Degree in aviation history, I could apply. My specialty would be identifying 9 out of 10 aircraft that were ever mass produced, (some of the one of a kinds can be real tricky).

As for your image source, what do you think they would think if we sent it back? (I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for "borrowing" it!)

Thanks for the idea - I did just that. (I'm pretty careful about 'borrowing' graphics, so as NOT to get in trouble! :) I buy a great many of my graphics, too, which gives me more freedom to alter and use. :)
