Our friend wrote that she has had the tests to see if the chemo works and is waiting the results.
Please God, let the test show good.
HMMMM . . .
When I wrote:
Your wisdom, granny, seems to be keenly in step with THE FR BOSS! Thanks much for your assertiveness.
I meant it as an affirmation--an appreciation for your foresightedness and being instinctively, proactively more understanding of and in-step with the Boss's preferences, intentions etc. I was thanking you for your
ASSERTIVENESS WITH ME!!!!
Sheesh.
Sigh.
So much for cherishing, revering, looking up to; respecting; affirming, praising, trying to encourage, applaud and thanking someone one cares deeply for.
Maybe I'd have had a more kind response if I'd been--oh, never mind. Not my style to be disingenuous, even jokingly critical of someone I care for like you.
Sigh.
I realize you may think I'm a very frightening bird of rare plumage; and off-the-wall crazy-man; a loose canon or any number of other derogatory whatevers. That is your privilege.
It saddens me deeply.
But I can SOMEWHAT wrap my mind around possibilities for your feeling such.
I still choose to respect you, look up to you, cherish you and enjoy your contributions to TM and FR and for your prayers and caring.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go
Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our hearts
and we are never the same......
You are a wonderful friend to this person and to all of us.

Prayers for good test results for your friend Granny. Too many good people seriously ill right now. God bless you for your concern for her - that's truly what friends are for.
