It's a matter of who wants it more, us or them. As Rush said the other day, it appears to be them [since when we latch on to one of these folks, we let them go w a slap on the hand]. Our government could care less about anything except perpetuating itself and its members... We are expendable
Rush is correct - we haven't treated these people with any degree of severity for what they portend to do to us. We obviously are expendable and that makes me very very angry. All the media and politicians ranting about "the plan to get us out of Iraq" is totally moot. They need to get their political heads out of their political posteriors and work with President Bush and Homeland Security to protect the people they represent. THAT is job #1 for them. Their self-serving politics won't matter if our country is catastrophically hit in multiple locations. By then, it will be too late to formulate the one and only plan that we need right now, designed to save our citizens and our cities from near total destruction, while our country still has living citizens to protect. The words "by the people, of the people and for the people" should not be construed as meaningless by those who are in charge of us. President Bush needs everyone's unbiased support so all Americans can fight this enemy together!
