50 years or more ago, my Grandmother was saying the same things about the Bible, reading it and sure the world would end, any day, any instant.

If pushed, I think that I would say that we are not smart enough to break the Bible's code.

Like so many of the things taught today, it winds up being the readers opinion.

I am attempting to say that if you study geology, archeology and many of the 'old' subjects, you are simply studying that teacher's opinion.

The simple fact is that much of the past is unknown and therefore the future is also.

I find many of the 'hot subjects' of today, cannot be proven beyond a doubt to be true or false.

Granny you are right about all. But the thing we have to keep in mind is, whether it is the end of time or not we all are going to die and live eternity in heaven or hell.
We are all on the doorstep of death everyday and don't even think about it.
We are guilty of the first warning of the first church in Revelation who left there first love.

Revelation 2
3 and you have perseverance and have endured (1) for My name's sake, and have not grown weary.
4 'But I have this against you, that you have (2) left your first love.
5 'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and (3) repent and (4) do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your (5) lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.
