Highway 95 in Roane County will be fully functional again for your Monday morning commute. Department of Energy leaders said all the radioactive material spilled on the roadway Friday has been removed.
Contractor Bechtel Jacobs and DOE still have not said why it took nearly 4 hours after the radioactive leak to notify the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency of the problem, and nearly 5 hours to shut down the highway.

Nine people have died from drinking alcohol, laced with the poisonous chemical formaldehyde, in Guangzhou, capital city of southern Guangdong Province.
Another 33 people have become violently ill after drinking the poisoned liquor. Local sources said four people were critically ill and three others were in a serious condition in hospital. The first two deaths were reported last Tuesday. On Wednesday, two more similar deaths were found in Baiyun District of the city.
The two men were identified as Wang Funian and Hou Shangjian, from Taihe Town. Both reported symptoms of poisoning on Monday afternoon after drinking liquor brought from the same stall.
