Scientist charged in Argonne bomb scare

A Bosnian scientist visiting Argonne National Laboratory was charged today with disorderly conduct after he allegedly made a flippant remark to a security guard about having a bomb in his car.
One official described the incident as "a stupid joke of the worst kind."
The DuPage County Sheriff's bomb squad was called at 9:15 a.m. Thursday to the east gate of Argonne, near southwest suburban Burr Ridge, after Uros Radovic, 52, responded to a guard's question by saying there were bombs in his vehicle, authorities said.
Radovic and three other foreign nationals were ordered to exit the car and leave their bags in the vehicle, officials said.

Between Iran and NK, they think we're wimps!
Please tell me what Orangeland means. I had the phrase "The Orange is on the Sun" come to me in I think '02. It has bothered me ever since because I do have a clue as to what it could mean butif I had greater understanding I might be able to pinpoint it.
nw_arizona_granny . . . you might want to avoid this message in sympathy for your kitty sensibilities.
Ahhhhh. Duh! Why didn't I think of that!
I do enjoy the Chinese one here with more than a hundred items.
Of course, if I see any middle Eastern staff, it will be a different matter!
Actually, I am fairly certain this Chinese family will protect their livelihood rather fiercely.
Though supposedly some inspector was upset to find a kitty in the freezer.
Guess the inspector was not a fan of . . . what's it called . . . phoenix and tiger soup [i.e. chicken and kitty substituting respectively].
Definitely a cultural difference.
hate to say it, but this sounds like a precursor to some kind of major event. You know what I mean? Laying down the gauntlet as a warning versus some kind of retaliation they might expect over a ... ahem ... forthcoming terrorist operation... i.e. "Here's what we can do to you and to Israel. Think carefully before deciding your next move."

I think he has hit the nail on the head.
toooooooo true!
This is just too weird. This call on top of that call from the terrorist in Afghanistan to a police department in Indiana (i think it was indiana) has to be more than a coincidence. What in the world is going on??
Is Venus known as the Orange planet and when does it cross the sun?
How does that happen? ;)

an IQ of 138 !
Most astounding part:
Chloe is not the youngest member ever to have joined Mensa.
In 1997, Dineshi Nirgunananthan, from Hanworth, west London, was accepted when she was just three with an IQ of 158.
My first thought was of the OKC Bombers and Padilla that is now in jail/prison.
I agree.
Leaves me wondering what kinds of threats and counter threats have been exchanged over secret channels!!!
We do have FR pilots, anyone know who?
I doubt we'll ever hear about it again!
She is freaked over this. At first she thought I was playing a trick on her.
She still doesn't believe that can hit the US. Maybe this will wake her up.
Well, this can't be good:
AIRCRAFT SHALL BE SQUAWKING THE DISCRETE CODE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE AND AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE TFR. 2. ALL AIRCRAFT ENTERING OR EXITING THE 30 NMR TFR MUST REMAIN IN TWO-WAY RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WITH ATC. 3
I've been fighting for years with Crhysler on recalled parts and damges Indie
