Poor baby is needing some help these days!
I saw a "Black-on Black" Scirocco the other day...
The paint job was like a mirror...
Still, I wouldn'r part with Lucretia for nuttin'!

My black VW had that mirror finish
for about 6 months.

Then I hit a curb, hit the undercarriage
of the car, which for some unknown reason
caused the side impact airbag to deploy.

No damage to the body, but the car had to
go to the shop to have the seat/airbag replaced.

The shop had the car for a month, waiting for an
airbag to be delivered from Russia. (?!) I don't
know what I was thinking, but I left the car with
the shop the whole time.

When I went to pick up the car (remember, it was only 6 months old - had only 3 miles on it when I bought it)
the guy drove it up and it had severe body damage from
one end to another. They were going to return it to me like nothing happened!!! The damage was from the car jockeys in their parking lots.

Long story short - they repaired the damage, but they gave the entire car the worst wax job. So it is just a little cloudy looking in intense direct sunlight.

Uggghhh! After the tow truck dropped and destroyed my first VW, I didn't need this.
