Sarge is back off of Drill Weekend, and stiif as a Popsickle after taking it to the limit for the PT Test this weekend. Not my personal best, mind you, but still the old guy gets around...

Also, Sarge is scratching off the days on the calendar, until he's up to Ft. McCoy for June. Laptop in hand, we'll still be able to talk and FReep, o' course!

Now, for this morning:

TONKIN/LINDA: Thanks, you two, for chipping in together and getting for us, this wonderful Ernie Pyle tribute! I'm really and truly grateful.

STAR/BENTFEATHER/KATHY: Dancing and music last night - always a Canteen pleasure! And caption laughs are a blast, too!

LISAMALIA: Hugs, Hon, just Hugs...

TIAMAT: Give lil' Caitlin a big ol' squeeze on our behalf. Well, not-so-little Caitlin anymore!

TO MY BRETHREN UNDER ARMS: Whether you're coming to visit us from The RockPile, the SandBox, somewhere on the Seven Seas, or places more mundane, the Canteen belongs to you. The Guardsmen backing you up will always come through. So, keep a few cots and coffee pots handy - we'll be seeing you soon!

Here is what Caitlin had to share at 4-H yesterday! Today she is off of school with a terrible case of "Birthday Flu", as Daddy was able to take the day off to spend with her.
