Have you seen this? He doesn't seem to be much of a fan of that inquiry of Iraqi expats that went on a while back.
Monitoring puzzles Iraqis in US
Some of those who fled Saddam Hussein's Iraq for the United States said that they believe a U.S. program that aims to identify terrorist threats by monitoring Iraqi Americans is as perplexing as it is disturbing. "If there is one group in America that wants to remove Saddam Hussein, it's Iraqi Americans," said Aziz Taee, a spokesman for the Iraqi-American Council in Washington.
Aziz Taee is also the guy who was at one of the DC chapter of FR's protests a while back.
Yes, I've seen it -- Aziz is definitely an interesting character. He was all over the media, prior to the war, supporting Bush and the liberation of Iraq. Then the objections to the interrogation of Iraqis living here, then news that he faced deportation for criminal activitities in Philly.
If Berg was working with Aziz, why didn't Michael Berg, or Nick's "employee," Hollinger, mention that, instead of their vague descriptions of Nick Berg marching off into the sunset, not knowing anyone in Iraq, on a humanitarian mission? Either Nick didn't tell them, they don't want to advertise the connection, or Aziz is lying -- or maybe all of the above.
