I've seen no evidence of any contribution to what those two little monsters became from their parents, except perhaps a little inattentiveness.

Thank you, I was just going to say (almost) the same thing. The parents of the children that were slain are horrified that they are not getting an apology. While the Kleibolds are waiting for an apology from the school.
In the meantime the shrinks are getting rich.
