The first hour of C-Span was pretty brutal. Lots of Lefties responding to the question, "Is torture ever justified?".

C-Span is the training area of choice for seminar callers. When they all drone on about the same subject, using much the same words, you can be sure it's DNC talking points disseminated to a union shop, civil rights group or senior citizen's home in Palm Beach County.

Miniter's been great in the last half hour or so after a VERY slanted inflammatory first hour.

Miniter made two really good points that really stood out to me:

(1) He laid to rest (again) the canard by the Left (I'm sure this will also be brought up, yet again wrongly, by Michael Moore in his new pik) that we funded bin Laden in the earlier Afghan War. Direct interviews with 'named' CIA officers (unlike Bob Woodwards 'unnamed sources') and US Intel documents showing that money NEVER was given to Arab Muslims, demonstrate that this accusation is A LIE.
(2) He has recently interviewed Iranians that are disappointed that their Shi'ite cousins in Iraq are being helped towards Democracy and that they have to live under an oppressive regime run by Mullahs. In addition, he repeated the stories about the candle-light vigils held in Iran for the victims of 911 and how these groups were beaten by government thugs, only to show up the next day and be beaten again to disperse them.

Too bad this stuff is not common knowledge among our media elite....or maybe it is, and they are merely omitting the information because they're too busy trying to get Bush.
