Well, why SHOULDN'T we show "fanatical patriotism"?

"fanatical patriotism" is what spurred the Founders into breaking away from an oppresive government to start the "new world";

"fanatical patriotism" is what made America the strongest, and most free nation on Earth.

"fanatical patriotism" keeps us free and safe from the likes of those who would object to the American Flag being shown...the French et al, sure as hell cheered that flag when it was saving their asses from the Germans.

The truth is - and the United Nations has proved it - all these foreign countries are NOT nuts about Red, White, and Blue...but about GREEN...the greenback dollar is really the bottom line.

North Korea...case in point - as long as madelyn not-so-bright and Prince william of Monica were feeding Kim a steady supply of greenbacks...he stayed cool and collected; then just as soon as the money supply stopped, he started rattling his nukes again. Extortion pure and simple.

Although it would be unfair to the athletes, I'd just soon keep ours, and our greenbacks, at home for the Olympics.

BTW, unless I missed it, I didn't see any other country's flag being "booed" when WE hosted the olympics.
