Who nows?

There could always be a reasonable explanation for this. I mean, how often do top Syrian weapons developers and scientists get to scope out the scenic view from the barren wasteland on the N. Korean/China border?

Maybe they were just offered a travel package they couldn't turn down.

C'mon.

I was born and raised in New York City. Sarcasm is the only joy we city-dwellers derive from life.

Well, ignoring those panhandlers who constantly importune us for money is pretty fun too. But sarcasm's the tops!

A missile with a larger cup size than a Scud-C.

The technicians were from the Syrian technical research center called Centre d'Etudes et de Recherche Scientific (CERS). Although CERS was established to promote science and technology development, it has been viewed as a major player in Syria's weapons of mass destruction development program.

Funny it doesn't name the Japanese newspaper. Maybe our intelligence there can shed some further light on the subject. Also, with CERS having a French sounding name, is there a possibility of a French connection in the program?

BUMP

The newspaper was the Tokyo Sankei Shimbun

Here is the link to LGF who has the report:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=11051_Syrians_Killed_in_North_Korean_Train_Blast

"...According to the same source, the technicians aboard the train had been sent from the Syrian technical research center called Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche Scientific (CERS). Although CERS was established to promote science and technology development, it is suspected of playing a major role in Syria’s weapons of mass destruction development program..."

France once ruled Syria. Go to Made in Syria and see that the French have been messing with this country's history from 1918 to 1945.

Accidents happen. Even a blind cat occasionally snags a bird.

But as the facts involved in this event emerge the opportunity that chance was involved becomes more and more remote.

Kinda makes me wonder if we might have had something to do with it. I would not be upset if we did.

Kinda makes you wonder if this is one of the "successes" that George Tenent can't talk about.

If so.....good work George; keep it up!
