I still often play her "greatest" compilation album with her standard stuff. "Long, Long Time," "Desperado," "Love has no Pride," "When Will I be Loved," etc.
To clear up some confusion, Linda did have a heroin Jones that she kicked in the early 70's.
She had not been heard from in a while since "Love Has No Pride" (written by Libby Titus BTW) floored me and many others.
I went to my first Neil Young concert at the Omni in Atlanta (Which became the "Time Fades Away" album) and before he came on, with the lights down low, he announced, "We've got a special guest who's been away", and out of that darkness came a beautiful, clear, a cappella "I've had bad dreams.....too many nights....to think that they, don't mean much anymore".
Goosebumps, dude....goosebumps.
