re: tickets for Dennis Miller's show

Do you know what date the taping will be?

Thanks!

That's what I get for not reading the whole thread!

So, the Dennis Miller show is cancelled?

I'm not in LA, but sure would like to watch when Ben is on with Dennis.

If you make a ping list, please put me on it.

Thanks for the heads up about the book. I can't remember Ben's screen name offhand (and wouldn't tell if I did), but I remember his first post here on FR -- I was very impressed -- and have recognized and enjoyed his posts ever since.

Congratulations, Ben!

I loaned out my personal, signed keeper copy to a close friend and have now forgotten who it was.

I was going to read it again.

Just DAMN!!!!

Thanks. I'm hopeful the WND connection will pan out. I got an email yesterday that Roger Hedgecock, (the big talk host in San Diego, who is Rush's main national substitute) spent several minutes talking about EF&D. I must have been listening to Savage just then, dammit! Anyway, Hedgecock is huge in SoCal, so I might be able to leverage that into something.

WND could have the next "Hunt For Red October"-sized hit on their hands, if they have the imagination to take this turn into conservative fiction. Clancy also struggled to get his first novel nationally distributed; the main-line NY publishers wouldn't touch it. (Conservative pro-military fiction? Yuck!) A tiny military books publisher took on THFRO as their first work of fiction, and the rest is publishing history.

and just came out with a book detailing the ways in which universities indoctrinate you and your children with leftist, anti-America propaganda.

This is nothing new, it's been going on for years. Nevertheless, it should be an interesting read.

Congratulations to Ben. I first noticed him when he did a little work for NRO. He should definitely freep under his own name now.

I am curious as to what he writes about the sciences, engineering and business.

That's true. The liberals largely control higher education and the courts-- and that is wielding a LOT of power, as we can see once again in Massachusetts.
