The only thing missing from this one is Kevin "Waterworld" Costner! Where will I be "The Day After TOmmorrow"? I don't know, my tastes are sometimes fickle.

When this wreck comes out I may go see the Passion again. To remind myself what the real power in the universe is.

Mr. Gore seems to have had difficulties with his life as apolitician, scientist, film critic, and soon perhaps, media mogul.

You and I just don't realize how brilliant he is yet. That would definitely be the problem...

at a preview screening of The Day After Tomorrow, the "hammier sections of the film's dialogue" were met with "derisive laughter." On the day after The Day After Tomorrow's release, the cinemas may well be empty. Will even eco-kooks pay money to see this dog?

There was a ten minute "preview" of The Day After Tomorrow a couple of nights ago - I believe prior to American Idol.
Believe me, this movie was not made for enviromentalists. It was made for ten year olds to early teens.
My wife and I were cracking up!! It was hilarious!! The special effects were cheap and cartoonish.
This may rank up there with "Plan Nine From Outer Space" as an 'All-Time Worst' movie candidate. :o)

'The Day After Tomorrow' actually refers to when movie theaters will stop running the film....
To: Rhetorical pi2
How would you rank it against "Alien Molemen" or "Attack of The Killer Tomatoes?"

They showed the TV Movie 10.5 to a group of Geologists and Seismologists. They were literally howling with laughter
I don't imagine that this movie will be much more scientifically correct.

I will definitely not see this movie as it has a repulsive anti-Semitic message and is has too much gore and violence.

A Dennis Quaid-starring, Al Gore-endorsed left-wing disaster film from the director of
Godzilla.
No, that doesn't have bomb written all over it.

I understand the same producers of 'Day After Tomorrow' also made 'Independence Day'. I dare say that the science of both films is equally reliable. Its really quite silly to rely upon a Hollywood film created for the purpose of entertainment as a source of legitimate scientific debate.
