On a commercial station, you send guys up the tower at any hour to make sure that your station is on the air before drive time. If you have an antenna problem at midnight you will move heaven and earth to make sure that the problem is fixed before dawn.

Well, not likely, but I did have a good ham radio friend that was totally blind, and even into his 70s, he would climb his 100 foot tower during the middle of the night, so as to not scare the hell out of his neighbors, hahaha
