That would rule him out from being a Republican, or a Bush supporter, or a Conservative ---- at least in the eyes of a member of ANSWER. If you were a leftist (ie idealist) but with some technical ability --- maybe not enough to obtain a degree but clever in some things, then that Prometheus Radio Project would definitely sound appealing --- especially when many engineering firms would require a degree, but a leftie one might not be too picky about degrees.
