It isn't a matter of liking or disliking. I still think that seeking the truth is the best policy any.
We need to know whether Berg should be compared to Anne Boleyn or to Lady Jane Grey.

"We need to know whether Berg should be compared to Anne Boleyn or to Lady Jane Grey."
Right you are. I do hope we find out soon.
I will say this: The beheading was an evil, horrific act. The motive behind it is still in question.
Now, we would not be all up in arms if the terrorists had beheaded one of their own, rather than some nice young American kid.
So, the question becomes: What was Berg's relationship with the terrorists? Was he with them? Against them? A dupe? A captive? What?
This we now don't know. It's all in question. How to react to this whole thing is going to depend on the answers.

We need to know whether Berg should be compared to Anne Boleyn or to Lady Jane Grey. Two brave Christians (Anne Boleyn provided scriptures to the servants - at a time that doing so carried the risk of death; and Lady Jane Grey made quite a testimony - nothwithstanding she was only 16 years old - during an interrogation prior to her beheading) vs. Mr. Berg. Other than all 3 got their head's chopped off - I fail to see the comparison...
