It is a fact that Daddy Berg is an anti-war activist who has chosen to use the hideous death of his son to further his political cause.

Exacly what has me spitting mad.

Good day, Onyx. Daddy Berg's actions do not anger me so much as disgust me. Had he waited until after his son's funeral to do the exact same thing, I would have better understood it. But to make politics almost his very first act upon news breaking of what happened to Nick is truly despicable.

His first thought seems not to have been to comfort his surviving children and other family members, nor to deal with his own grief, nor to honor his son's memory. Rather, his first thought seems to have been to get as much political mileage as he can out of Nick's death while the getting is good.
