The uncle of one of the MP's sent the photos to Hackworth, whether he wants to admit it or not. He was quoted in the New York Times, and I see no reason for that to be inaccurate...they were trying to portray the uncle as a sympathetic figure.
I definitely missed that bit of information. Now why would someone want his niece or nephew's unit to get into all this trouble?
