The very first thing I read that Michael Berg supposedly said really floored me also.

I read that he said; "He was glad his son had been beheaded because he didn't have to suffer a long and torturous death."

My response to that was the father obviously didn't watch the video and seeing him screaming as his head was being sawed off.

I have not watched the video but Glenn Beck, talk radio, played the Audio. Then later I heard one of the FoxNews guys describe it in detail. Horrible, Horrible. And I heard him read in English the full text that Al Zaqari was reading. I wish we could find the whole transcrip. Scary!

Yeah they are piling up. He's jewish, went to school with Moussoui, and possibly shared an email account, has a relative married to an Iraqi, visited this Iraqi's brother at least once while in Iraq, father is a member of ANSWER, had a copy of the Koran, thought it was safer for him to travel without the US military protecting him, a small buisness owner trying to repair broken antennas in war torn Iraq, had been asked at least once by our government to leave Iraq, beheaded by Iraqi's wearing hoods.

Get out the tinfoil....I just happen to be reading a book entitled " The PROMETHEUS Deception" by Robert Ludlum.

It is a thrilling spy novel where the main character Nick Bryson was working for an ultra-secret intelligence agency called the Directorate, which may have really been an agency acting against the U.S.-- BUT unbeknownst to Nick Bryson...there are so many twists/turns in the novel, I can't really tell what's happening yet...

Just thought it odd to run into PROMETHEUS twice this week.

I really don't know. But there's enough spin going on to make your head swim. Berg's purpose and identity in Iraq, coupled with his Dad's political bent (anti-Bush) leads one to believe that this is a skewed story, planted for political motives.

I hasten to add that his death (if true) confirms all of our deepest concerns about the so-called religion of peace.
