From what I've heard, he was in favor of the war, and of the President. Just because a parent is anti-Bush doesn't mean that the child is as well.
I am a great case-in-point. I couldn't be more pro-Bush, whereas my parents couldn't be more anti-Bush and anti-government...except on the 1st of each month when the checks roll in).

I was raise by liberals too. My parents are conservative these days. Not because they became conservative, but because they got kicked out of the big tent for failing to follow blindly.
