I tend to agree with all the remarks but I'd add one thing: she had a weird, satanic sneer on her face when she cryptically implicated her "higher chain of command". Hardly the demeanor of a hapless victim. Yuck.

Is it just me or are these accused a little bit too free with their comments? I know they have lawyers advising them but if the tons of high profile cases the media have force fed us over the years have taught us anything, it's to keep your mouth shut tight. Just one comment can be their undoing in court.

In the Air Force, we were told that getting a civilian lawyer may not be the best course of action in a court martial. It may work against the accused in the opinion of a board.
