Monday night we learned that the video we'd heard about was mostly England and Graner (father of her baby--the story goes) having sex. I said right then this indicated a propensity for this group to take pictures and indulge in whatever sick whims came into their heads.

The very next day Gen. Taguba testified that this small group was mainly left to their own devices with little to no supervision (I believe the supervisors have already had discipline charges started against them in March) and that they acted *on their own volition*.

But sure enough, Sen. Nelson of Florida is shown this morning on tv emerging from yesterday's viewing saying he just can't believe they were acting on their own. Damned and determined to make this the fault of the higher ups--as in they were acting on orders.
