Shocking shots of sexcapades involving Pfc. Lynndie England were among the hundreds of X-rated photos and videos from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal shown to lawmakers in a top-secret Capitol conference room yesterday

So we pay these stupid Reps to sit around watching amatuer porn videos all day? What the hell is this crap?

You have revealed exactly what I thought when I heard about the pregnancy. With the investigative powers of the military, they probable have everything they want to know on tape. If they do have information relating to her use of pregnancy to avoid service on tape, she won't be able to get away with. They will use it against her. She is in big trouble. If she tries to keep others from talking, or tries to conjure testimony from others to make it look like they were "ordered to do it," Miss England will have witness tampering added to her charges.

If Miss England happened to engage herself with any married men, that information will come out. Marriages do not stand up very well to adultery. It is ironic how a little sex can really screw things up. Just ask Bill Clinton.

Hef is probably calling her to join him at the Playboy Mansion. Look for a cover and a photo spread. That should pay the legal bills.

Well , your contention that all female soldiers are being punished for the act of a single jackass is fallacious at best. Theoretically, you know better, right?

I did not overlook any such fact about male involvement. It was you telling us all about Amazon warriors in the DMZ that did the overlooking, isn't that so? Is your contention that mean ol' men folk forced this innocent flower into acts she did not condone? You really are reaching if that is the case. You should know this, but apparently your DACOWITS fantasy blinds you to this individual's culpability. So far ,you have done nothing but be whining accomplice to this malefactor. Sorry, but your screed does not wash here. Woman in combat units is an awful idea whose time never came. Be true to logic and admit this is so.

You are way off the mark. You accuse me of saying things I never said. If you're not able to address what was actually said, make something up and argue about that. I merely told the truth. If that's too much for you to cope with, read post #399 for a theory on the reason for this. You may recognize yourself.

Once again, you are off the mark . I did read #399.. What is it with you? Did your husband keep extending to avoid you? I sure would have .

As far as your poor little girl thing, give it up.Lynddie England is a bad actor and so are the six others involved in this disgrace, male and female.

Please try to keep your DACOWITS fantasies to yourself, otherwise, you simply continue to expose yourself as a delusional, bitter crank.

THINK YOU'RE EXACTLY RIGHT HERE!

Of course that's exactly why Chucky put it this way according to the article:.... "Normally, I side with disclosure and openness, but in this case, these photos are evidence," Schumer said, indicating that he favors keeping the lid on the alarming pictures.....

Now that it's been disclosed that there are numerous pics of filthy little Lindy cavorting with various sex partners, it's becoming clearer that this it is more likely to be midnight filming of Girls Gone Wild rather than that of an officialy endorsed military operation.

A bunch of sick punks with their own depraved agendas.

The feminist agenda put their goals of total sexual equality ahead of freedom, ahead of prosperity, ahead of family cohesion, ahead of justice, ahead of indeed national security. That agenda has forced a number of changes in our society that have had harmful effects in many areas. No doubt, the introduction of women to more and more military roles has been a double edged sword, and the negative impacts of this has been ignored by the feminists for a simple reason: They dont care about our national security.

With great respect, I think you ought to change that to:

Well, according to experts, "normal" people do abnormal things in war.

If you get into your head that every prisoner in front of you or in your charge could be capable of sawing off your head with glee, then it's understandable they tormented and abused the captured.

How else is information going to be gleened (sp?)out of them? Not by asking politely...that's for sure.

In past wars there was censorship. In this day of 24/7 news and the internet, there is no real censorship.

Is that a bad thing under the circumstances?

"Are we sure it's a good idea to have women serving in these places?"

No Jim, but despite the appalling rates of out-of-wedlock births and the enormous degree that standards have dropped to accomodate the gals in uniform, nothing will be done: the quota's will continue, the standards will drop, etc.

The United States is in the habit of hobbling ourselves in every facet of life.

If we ever stopped doing so, just imagine how far ahead of the world we would scream.

We already have the strongest military despite hobbling ourselves with political correctness, over-adherence to individual sensitivity (both our own and our enemy), unwillingness to go all out to win, etc. Imagine what our military could accomplish if we would not do these things to ourselves.

We do the same thing to business and socially. Overregulation, unwise and uneconomic environmental restrictions, again oversensitivity and political correctness, lack of enforcing good-for-society moral behavior, high taxation, socialistic programs, ... these and many other things drag us down from where we could be.

Sad... so sad...

.

You are absolutely right: the whole bunch involved in this, including those who failed in direct supervisory responsibilities, ought to spend hard time.
