She's great...and the Left hates her for it.

Libs need to ask Nick Berg if there are Al-Q in Iraq. Oh wait, he can't answer us anymore....

"67 "Iraq's Space & Missile Programs Move Ahead," Military Space, September 30, 1996, p. 1; and R. Adam Moody, "Reexaming Brain Drain From the Former Soviet Union," The Nonproliferation Review, Spring/Summer 1996, p. 94. The latter reference notes that 50 specialists from Arzamas-16, to include a Ukrainian MIRV specialist and a Russian laser specialist were reported to be working in Iraq in late 1992."

"On December 5, 1989, Iraq became the tenth nation to launch an artificial moon to orbit above Earth. The satellite was the 3rd stage of a three-stage rocket in a launch from Al-Anbar."

Here's a neat little statement from "Crazy Joe Wilson" in 2002:

The Daily Star [Lebanon] November 11, 2002

Saddam ‘will use entire arsenal’ if cornered

Nicholas Blanford

"Iraqi President Saddam Hussein will resort to weapons of mass destruction and attempt to spark an Arab-Israeli war by attacking Israel if the United States carries out a plan to topple the Iraqi regime, says Joe Wilson, former US acting ambassador to Baghdad and one of the last American officials to meet Iraq’s leader face to face."

"The second disagreeable reality is that Saddam has not abandoned his desire for weapons of mass destruction. His Iraq had by 1990 achieved the capacity to produce and deliver chemical and biological weapons, had already used the former against Iran and was within a year of producing a nuclear weapon. The nuclear capacity has now been dismantled. But the capacity to produce, and Saddam's desire for WMDs remains."

(Last one - I promise. There is so DAMNED much out there that the liberals deliberately ignore!)

"Saddam threatened to use chemical weapons against Israel during the first Gulf War and repeated that threat as late as 2002. Israel took these threats very seriously by placing IAF strike aircraft on "pad" alert, ready to fly over downtown Baghdad on a moment's notice."

The leftists among us have developed a gift for setting up straw men, labeling them "(mis)perceptions held by conservatives", and knocking them down, to their own great personal glee. For years, they managed to make a convincing case that they "knew" what our prejudices and foibles were, and explained them to the world. Now, the more conservative voices no longer "play fair", but keep dredging up these annoying and uncomfortable facts and recollections of actual events, and constructing hypotheses that cut very close to reality in a most uncanny fashion.

The reason the Main-Stream-Media (MSM to the uninitiated) no longer can maintain this monopoly on distribution of the "news" lies partly with the existence of the Fox News network, and partly with the Internet, which seems somehow to slip under their radar and get into the hands of a far larger audience every year.

Is there anything like a full spectrum of informed opinion and rational discussion out there? Not yet, by a long shot. But occasionally, a corner will be illuminated, where only darkness had reigned, and another convert for life comes in.

One, two, a few at a time. But when it happens over and over, and grows by geometric progression, it is a good day's work.

God bless you my son..... and now back to business:

"so far this year, more Israelis or more Palestinians have died in the conflict, or is the number roughly equal?"

I think my answer would be "not enough Palestinians..."
