Your aloofness is commendable, but having been in a war where the left and the press decided that communists were morally superior to Americans and deserved to win, I find this particular kind of dissent contemptable. It does in fact cost the lives of our soldiers.
If we go to war against another democratic nation over territory or money, I will probably join the peaceniks, but that hasn't happened recently.
Except perhaps in Kosovo.
The B.S. detector just hit overload. Like many on this forum, I have a family member serving in the military. The purpose of the a-holes at ANSWER and the RATS who want back in power is to demoralize our troops so that we will be forced to turn tail and run. They are doing incredible harm to this nation and its warriors by emboldening the enemy during time of war.
re: I consider calling supporters against the war in Iraq enemies, is as evil as the ideals and practices of the real enemy that we hate, such as the Taliban.
What is wrong with you? Do you not have the sense with which you were born? Calling someone a name is as evil as the practices of the Taliban? What, are you nuts? It is as evil as cutting out tongues? It is as evil as dropping a wall on someone's head? It is as evil as gouging out eyes? It is as evil as other unspeakable forms of torture? What in the hell is wrong with you? Don't you have the ability to look at things in degrees? A few years ago I violated the vehicle code by accidentally turning onto a street that was only for buses. Ted Kennedy violated the vehicle code by driving off the bridge and killing someone. They both violated the law. Is one just as evil as the other?
Excuse me, but unless you were drunk while typing or have some kind of bipolar problem, you sicken me.
