I have not read through the whole thread, but in case no one else mentioned it, these things can sometimes take on a life of their own. Were I you, I would save all correspondence and sent it to your favorite lawyer. You never know, partner.

Y'all are laughing about this, but we won't be laughing in a few days when this "story" turns up on the Today show, the ABC Nightly News, Nightline, or similar lamestream media show. They haven't had a good turn at the "right wing nuts" since Oklahoma City, and if a semi-legit outlet like Salon reports this, it WILL get picked up. We'd best be ready for the onslaught.
