Jeff Birnbaum commented on Special Report's roundtable that he doesn't understand why Kerry is staying away from the topic of Nick Berg.

The reason is simple.

Back in '71 Kerry testified before congress that American soldiers went across the Vietnam countryside beheading people on a routine basis. He fears that someone will point out the irony of Kerry smearing our troops all those years ago with false claims of beheading people and today commenting on the actual beheading of an American citizen.

I mean, what could Kerry possibly say?
