I am honestly disturbed by what I am sensing in myself these days. I was raised in 'Old South' in the late 40's and early 50's but was fortunate enough to have parents who would not condone ANY form of racism in word or deed. As I've grown up I've tried to use the same yardstick in dealing with anyone who not 'like' me in color, religion, etc. The overwhelming majority of Muslims will do nothing, absolutely nothing, to help themselves avoid being painted with the broad brush provided by these miscreants. I can only assume this means that either they don't care what I think of them or they are so brainwashed that it doesn't matter to them. I have an increasingly difficult time trying to keep anger from welling up in my chest when I see them in public wearing their distinctive headdress. I am mostly a Baptist, and I can assure you that if anyone were to kidnap someone and behead them TV while claiming to be doing it for the God I love and worship and on behalf of the Southern Baptist Convention the resulting uproar from Baptists across this country would be deafening. They would be decried from EVERY pulpit in the church and on every talk show. For the life of me I can understand how so many Mausoleums can simply stand by and see what's being done IN THEIR NAME without even a whimper.

I have been having similar thoughts lately, but precedent to the prison abuse photos and the Berg slaughter. No, I've been having atypical thoughts of violence against people like Ted Kennedy. I don't know how someone like him lives with himself. He can't possibly believe his own BS, can he?
