To: Final Authority
The govt in reference to one (or more I can't remember) "flash of light" said it was a reflection. The man who invented FLIR said it was a gunshot. See the movie Waco, The Rules of Engagement.

I will do some investigation into the credentials of the so-called inventor of the IR camera as FLIR is a trade mark. I doubt, as you claim, that the expert testimony came from the inventor. It may have come from a person with financial interests in the sale and use of such technology by local and federal agencies but on the other hand, refuting the governments expert witness would not be smart. I suspect the expert witness had an ax to grind. As I said, I will do some research and get back to you on this, as I nor you were at the hearings.
