It was covered in the Saturday AM torah portion a couple weeks ago - I recall reading the commentary that a species of white ones with legs that work a certain way are kosher, but no one knew what species specifically they are anymore. I guess some Sephards do, but then I don't know any personally, except for yahoo chatting with the Sephardic husband of an Ashkenaz friend who moved to Tel Aviv.

You know one Sephardi right here, albeit not one who knows anything about the kashrut of grasshoppers. It's an art rare among non-Yeminite Sephardim.
