From what I have heard, there was no decision to make for the mainstream media on this one. There is just no way they could show it. I won't even download it out of fear that my kids might open it.
Compared to this video, the Iraq prison videos are the equivalent of a frat house hazing.

I agree with you, but rememebr 9/11..at first we saw the shots of the people jumping from the top of the WTC....those were long shots..no details..you could easily see they were humans, but no facial details, and you didn't have to show the impact..Yet, mysteriously, withn a feww minutes, it was a magical" unanimous consensus of ALL the newts, every last one..to stop showing the shots, and the videotape.. Why?

Some network needs to show the Iraqi with panties on his head, and then this video. Ask which one is torture.

I did look at the video against my better judgement and you were right in your concern for your children. Kids have enough to deal with these days without being exposed to this kind of cruelty. Knowing it happened really is enough. I downloaded it ten minutes ago and I still have one eye on the bathroom door hoping the nausia subsides. But then the media showed gun camera video of a wounded Iraqi being turned into meat confetti by a chain gun in January so what's the difference. Both episodes are equally callous, equally cruel and equally sickening.
