Notice how the media is only "whispering" that the deficit will be cut in half by next year. (thanks mainly to tax cuts) The real issue for the partisan media is why can't they control the stories enough to drown out any of Bush's positives. (imagine what reagan would have done with a talk radio and internet way to side step the partisans.)

Rat's biggest mistake is overselling and spinning every story to that comes out to sink bush. As most people walk away from the over aggressive salesman so the voters are walking away from the Dem's.
at some pressure point it just is not credible anymore, by laying it on so thick they are repulsing the rational and only pandering to their now hysterical base

Why isn't Bush losing?
Because Kerry voted FOR the 82 billion before he voted against it.
The more people see of John Effin' Kerry the less they trust him as a potential leader.

;Here's Wolfstar's "speculation:" Polls are BS.
No kidding. I mean consider the typical national poll of 900 adults or registered or likely voters. With 50 states thats an average 18 people per state.
Now someone could argue statistics to me all day, I've even taken courses on the subject. But you'll never convince me that you can ask 18 people per state and get a national view.
Or as Dad says, "You can't just ask 12 people at the local bar and find out who's gonna win the election".
